In writing "Secrets of Walking in the Spirit," I realized that I had got ahead of myself slightly, so I backed up and wrote "How to Walk in the Spirit." This is a very practical guide.
Then, my life has been based on the fact that Jesus issued one commandment to Christians. I began to be curious as to why there was not more scripture in the New Testament to support the importance of this commandment, so I wrote "Theological Arguments for the Gift of Tongues From the Scriptures," because the truth of the matter is: there are many verses that support this truth, they have merely been interpreted to have other applications. Search the scriptures for yourselves. You will only find one commandment between Jesus death on the cross and His resurrection. Since the Church did not exist before Jesus death, this commandment would seem to be of paramount importance. Since it was not possible to become a Christian until after Jesus' blood was spilled, by all logical reason, the commandment issued after this event would be the truth that the whole of the New Testament would revolve around. Jesus said, "Be careful with what measure you mete, for the same measure you use will be the measure given back to you." This means that if we start with a disdain for the commandment issued to Christians, the truth held there will be hidden from us. But if we honor this commandment and believe that since it is the only commandment issued to Christians, its importance is huge, then the truth will be unlocked for us. The higher we honor the commandment, the more its truth is revealed.
Through writing this book, I realized that the subject of Hebrews 11 was the gift of tongues. Thus I wrote "Hebrews 11, The Faith Chapter."
I let a friend read this book and she commented, "I believe the manifestation of the baptism with the Spirit could be any of the nine gifts of the Spirit." This statement is such a great departure from what the scripture teaches that I wrote "Adam's dilemma," because Adam interpreted God's commandment to him, and obeyed his interpretation. Adam's interpretation did not lead to the tree of life, it led to a curse.
Please understand that when I say I wrote these books, what I am saying is that I wrote them down. The Holy Spirit told me what to write, think what you will, its true. The only credit I can take is that I set in front of a computer and typed, but I really didn't have much choice in the matter. I made Jesus Lord of my life many years ago and have been careful to live by that principal. I've been doing this so long now, I am more of a slave to His love than a servant.
The problem I have is, I have spent all my time writing, editing, rewriting, editing, coming up with covers and writing that I have not got these new books added to the website, nor have I gotten any of them loaded as ebooks.
This makes 10 books that I have written thus far, all on the gift of tongues. Subjects range from the benefits to speaking in tongues, to why we should. I have taught on the subject from Genesis to Revelation without taking a single verse of scripture out of context and I don't believe in interpreting the scripture. I prefer to let the scripture speak for itself. Each book averages 150 pages in a 5.5x7.5 format. This is truly amazing to me. I have been a Spirit filled Christian now for some 35 years and have always heard the baptism with the Spirit taught from the same 4 or 5 places in the scripture.
